Allow multiple contexts per task

Most tasks require more than one type of action or resource to be completed. As such, it makes sense to be able to add more than one context to a given task. I know some folks opt to not use the context field and instead use Tags to accomplish this behavior. With that in mind, it would be beneficial to just do this using the context field.

I also would like to use multiple contexts. Rather than use tags, I'll try adding the same task under each context.

You can currently do this just by adding tags like @home @work @gym etc.

the Tags functioning should be strengthened to give total flexibility in customisation and allow a user to do whatever they want to do.

disagree, this is what tags are for, context must be unique!

shelbyp: disagree back...why? Your choice to use tags is...YOUR choice...i.e subjective. But certainly not an absolute nor a standard. Allowing multiple contexts in no way hinders your decision to use tags for a similar function. However, allowing multiple contexts does add functionality that doesn't get in the way of the current UX. And finally, multiple contexts actually mirror real life - tasks rarely require only a single resource and most often require multiple resources concurrently.

aleding: the fact that context is unique makes it powerful and simple to use. eg it can be easily selected from a single dropdown list. If this changes the UI integration of context needs to change. Additionally external integration such as IFTTT also needs to change. What you want to accomplish can already be accomplished using tags and a saved search. Just all your tag context_work, context_home etc or whatever makes sense.

shelbyp: Adding the ability to assign multiple contexts in no way diminishes any "power" that field has as a single entry. If you want to assign a single context - then you are more than free to do so. If you want to assign multiple contexts, then you are free to take that route. But merely allowing multiple entries does nothing to take away from the current behavior - it only serves to open up that field for those users who want more.

shelbyp: I also don't see any issues with IFTTT integration as that will obviously be part of many features planned on the RM. That's just part of app dev...it goes with the territory if the new folks want to keep any integration support part of the app which I'm sure they intend to do.
