Default to future, not past, if task date is missing the year

Usually I don't specify the year when I set a task date, and usually that works fine. Except near the end of the calendar year. In December, if I create a task for "January 10", ToodleDo thinks I mean January 10 of the current year, which is in the past. That's not helpful. By default, tasks should always be created in the future.

This is a feature that I have been wanting for years. However, even though it says that this change has been completed, it does not work for me. It still defaults to the past. Is there a setting I must do to make it default to the future? Thanks.

as4taxes_1378315146: You are right -- it looks like if you use month names (Jan 1) then it goes to 2022, but if you use month numbers (1/1) then it defaults to the past. We have a fix for this that we will push in the next day or two

PamelaH: Is it really complete? When I enter dates such as January 1, it is still defaulting to the current year (past date), not the next January 1.

rickscholz: That's my experience too. I tried using Jan 1 and it reverted to Jan of 2021 instead of 2022. I'm truly hoping that the fix is provided soon. It's just a matter of convenience, not having to type month, day and year if you want next year.
