For assistant, ability to say "OK Google, add task "task". Need to be able to configure default values for Priority, Context, Folders, etc.

Is it possible to include dictating what you want entered in a comparable manner as entering in the "Quick Task Add" section ie. Buy milk slash (folder name) slash (context) slash (tag name) slash (due date) etc?

Also of course the questions about the content : what is urgent, what is in my professional folder/list, what is planned for today, what is in priority 1...

YES!!! on Google assistant integration. I currently use IFTT. It works most of the time, but even when IFTT works, there's that default "no date" issue mentioned by Cindy_. That means each Google assistant Toodledo entry requires going into the app or desktop for editing.

This would be great. The IFTTT solution would work perfectly for me if the due date defaulted to "today" instead of "no date". Perhaps that could be done quickly as a first step.

Cindy_1297445148: Agree completely here -- the IFTTT integration is a reasonable (though far from perfect) stop-gap for true Assistant functionality, but the lack of the ability to set the due date is so frustrating. Before Google had its own task list built into Assistant, the "OK Google, note to self" integration used our default task settings, including the ability to set the due date to today, and it's the single biggest issue I have with the new IFTTT workaround.

there is a reasonable IFTTT solution for this, but need it to add date to what can be configured. Would be nice to have additional integration by voice to read tasks etc like ToDoist can.

Siri too please! Can be accomplished with the new mobile app, by implementing the new Siri Shortcuts features in iOS 12.
And as a Google Home user, please consider how the Google Assistant integration can work through the Google Home as well, not just on an Android device.
