I noticed this thread was started in 2018 - its now December 2022, what is the current status of the new iOS app development?

Modify Search criteria from Mobile App. I would like to modify/update the criteria in my saved searches (e.g. like changing a date search) from the mobile app. Today, it requires me to do that on via the desktop app.

Build 8 for IOS. The font size is substantially larger, so less items are shown on the screen (and I prefer to read in Portrait orientation). Please reduce the font size for better readibility. I like the + button to add a new task. And I love the Yellow flag that allows a quick way to set the priority! I also looked on the roadmap and I didn't spot the ability to use voice to add a task. That would be a MAJOR improvement.

Please make a new mobile app available on older IOS devices and systems, such as iPod Touch v6. Hopefully that would include the ability to sync without an SSL error and allow connection to the server. I REALLY miss having this available on my device! Thanks!

Please allow for manual sorting incl day view, like MS Todo. With this feature, Toodledo becomes unbeatable!

Recently, i noticed that the number of "All Tasks" shown in my mobile (iphone) app is only a small subset of the total number of tasks that I have stored in Toodledo. I used to just tap on the "all tasks" and then enter a new search term from there in order to find tasks related to the key word(s) that i entered. The results would be pulled from the entirety of what i have entered in toodledo. Now, the results only come from the subset number of tasks. For clarity, I have over 9000 separate "task" entries in the system. The number of tasks shown in the "All Tasks" section on the mobile (iphone) app for my account is 291. That 291 seems to contain only tasks that are due within the last couple of days through the next 2 weeks (or so). Is this by design? I need a way to search my total database of entries via the app. Please advise ASAP

For an "In Progress" project this thread is deafeningly quiet. No updates for almost a year is not what I had hoped for when I checked in today. I have been patiently waiting for a mobile app that is worthy of Toodledo for some time now. I do a lot of mobile work and the current app is not usable IMO, and the mobile web interface is not a lot better. Most of the contenders in the productivity field have had good mobile apps released for some time. I have tried to sell Toodledo to my teammates but most of them won't even consider it without a polished mobile app. I understand development of such things is quick and easy. Anything you could give us would be great. Please put my name in the hat if you are beta or even alpha testing. I would be more than happy to help.

I used Todoist on iOS. I love the way all the syncing happens in the background. It works so nicely. Instead, Toodledo still shows a sync bar every time I open the app. Syncing should be seamless like with Todoist. This was okay in 2008, but now we're 2019, apps have become more sophisticated.
Every time I open the app I find myself looking for that sync bar at the bottom of the screen to make sure my iOS sync-ed with whatever changes I made on the web. Not the best experience.
I'm a long time user, and rooting for you guys to do a great job with the new app!

Mark7364: Great point I too look for that status bar at the bottom of the app each time. It was a reassuring habit. What is not reassuring is the lack of engagement which was already weak but now over the last 2 months has become complete silence. I don't think the developers are looking at this request list portal, the forum, or the date of their last blog post providing an update since May.

jimk222: thanks for the heads up. If these guys won’t be serious about making timely improvements, it’ll be time for me to look for another platform. Thanks for
Your reply.

The last update on the blog is a "May Update". it's July 27th. when will we hear the next status update? Also can someone clarify what are the changes in the Beta version of the app? I've not seen a new beta version and the one that is about to expire in Test Flight has only a few color changes and a logo swap out. Developers, help us help you... what changes can we as early adopter users help test in the Beta?
