Unfinished tasks - postponation

it would be very useful to have a smart "scheduler|" to postpone all unfinished tasks to the appropriate day , based on the calculation of the duration time of each task. Supplementary to not move all the unfinished tasks today if the total duration is more than the duration defined for this day

Yes, task rollover as currently defined is too restricted, in two ways:
Generally, I want to roll over some tasks to the future (e.g. not be bothered with them at present), but keep others as overdue so that I pay especial attention to getting them done. Rollover as described (too dangerous to test) applies to "all" overdue tasks -- not what I want - or did I misunderstand?
Also, I want to specify when I want toodledo to remind me of that task. Some are tomorrow, some are next month. "Today" is too restrictive.
Currently I reschedule in one of two ways:
- manually reset start date and due date (doable but cumbersome)
- check it as done so that it gets rescheduled, and then go to completed tasks and deleted that instance of the completion (so that my work log remains accurate).
A simple "reschedule to …." drop down, as described by StepNJump, would be very helpful. I personally would not want new due dates determined by an auto-scheduler.

Easier alternative:
if we could easily select the tasks to be postponed and by pressing a keyboard shortcut, it would open a window asking on what date we want to postpone those (selected) tasks...
