When I click "today" or "next monday" or a specific date on the calendar popup, any of these should immediately choose the date and close the calendar. Having to separately click Save is an unnecessary extra click. On the rare occasions I clicked the wrong date, I'll just tap the date row to re-open the calendar dialog.
