I've used the new app for a couple of months and, I'm sorry, I hate it. I've just gone back to the old one. The new app is clunky and it looks bad with my preferred phone font settings (where the old one looks fine). My biggest aggravation is that I can't set defaults for new tasks, e.g. default folder, default due date etc. I've lost count of the number of times I've "lost" a task because I've accidentally not entered a due date. The only thing I half like about the new app is the dark mode, and really, I'll cope with the glare. I sincerely hope we're not going to be forced to adopt it at some point.

Thanks for the feedback! For the font issue, are you using a larger font? We are making changes to fix issues with large fonts.

Eventually we will allow setting the defaults directly from the app. We will keep the old app available, but unfortunately with every iOS/Android OS update that comes out, there is a risk that certain functionality won't work anymore.

PamelaH: Yes, my phone's font is set to larger. But it's not massive, it's just very slightly larger than 'standard'. And I've found the defaults now, thank you. But I still prefer the old app for now. I'm not going to switch until I absolutely have to.
