Also, please make sure we can bulk edit only the desired field or fields of the selected tasks. It is currently only useful to set all selected tasks with identical field settings. That need comes up only rarely.

Maybe style the current checkboxes at grayed-out or colored-in checkmarks (incomplete and complete, respectively). Then implement an optional column we can choose to add under "Fields/Functions Used" and style that as regular checkboxes.

Specfici usecase I encounter often is when adding tasks throughout the day, I just put a title and no other information. Then later, when looking at "Recently Added", I'd like to select subsets to add folders, context, priorities, dates, etc. and it's currently not possible.

On mobile app, please add long press to select multiple tasks to allow for quickly changing end dates, status, other related items. Thanks for the info on the web version! For mobile, I've been using Ultimate To-Do List as my front end to Toodledo. Due to the multi-selection option, it has become my go-to app for updating my Toodledo tasks on my phone and tablet. I can't express how much quicker it is to make changes on a small screen when you can select multiple tasks and make changes to all of them at one time. Toodledo Developers, check out Ultimate To-Do List as an example for implementing multiple task selection and editing.

Just FYI, on web it already is (for quite some time). Enable keyboard shortcuts, then select tasks while holding L and the batch editing sidebar opens. You must be on tasks.toodledo.com, not www.toodledo.com/tasks layout.
