Still can't get an initial sync. Tasks now get to 1000 active tasks on initial sync, and just stop

Posted bug in wrong place in May 2022, on first attempt on a previous build here:
All tasks seemed to sync at that time, just never showed up in the list.
Just tried beta build 12, and as per subject, initial sync reaches 1000 tasks (also the API fetch limit per request), and just stops retrieving any more. Left it running all day.. Tried re-installing, same result. Folders, Tags etc seem to sync, and be visible though sidebar fine
Interestingly, in both cases, if I added, or even edited a task through the web interface OR the legacy phone app, the count would add 1 more task.. So the sync was aware of them
